Bridging the Gap: How Wildlife Crossings Enhance Wildlife Migration and Habitat Connectivity [Spring Forward Webinar Series]

Join the Greater Yellowstone Coalition online for a fascinating presentation on wildlife crossings and migration corridors in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.

The migration of elk, mule deer, and other ungulates is the beating heart of this remarkable region. However, these ancient paths are often obstructed by the many roads bisecting Greater Yellowstone. Wouldn’t it be great if we could give ungulates and other wildlife their own safe little highway? Luckily, that’s where wildlife crossings come in!

Our presenter is GYC’s Wyoming Conservation Coordinator Jared Baecker, a long-time conservation collaborator based out of Jackson, Wyoming. You’ll learn about Wyoming’s world-famous migration pathways, why wildlife crossings are the best long-term solution for enhancing wildlife movement corridors and keeping drivers safe, and how GYC is supporting the building of wildlife overpasses and underpasses.
