Bison Without Borders: Room to roam outside Yellowstone
 Who We Are

Protecting one of the last largely intact temperate ecosystems on Earth

America's last remaining wild bison call Yellowstone home. Wolves and their pups make a comeback after decades of being exterminated from the landscape. Grizzly bears and their cubs amble through the rugged beauty of a diverse and rich landscape. Native cutthroat trout flourish in crystal-clear streams that support the web of life in Yellowstone. Spectacular scenery and breathtaking vistas abound here.

And it should remain this way for generations to come.

Greater Yellowstone Coalition was founded more than 26 years ago by a group of concerned citizens, scientists and conservationists to ensure this vast and wild ecosystem remains intact now and well into the future. The coalition has grown to include more than 18,000 supporters who help GYC protect a 20-million acre ecosystem that includes Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park at its core. GYC is the national leader focusing on regional issues. Find out more here.
